Let me introduce myself - I’m Kirsten, and I’ve been shooting weddings for close to 20 years…so somewhere over 1000 weddings by now and yes I can say I have seen a lot in that time. I still absolutely love this job, all the little moments that happen along the way on the wedding day that are important parts of your story.

Rebecca and I established Compose Photography back in 2007, and we capture a range of photography which all revolves around helping people feel at ease in front of the camera, and capturing classic imagery for our clients.

I’m a qualified photographer, I attained Master status with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography, and have been awarded at state, national and international level. Highlights include the Australian Creative Photographer of the Year, finalist for WA Wedding Album of the Year, and WA Travel Photographer of the Year.

I have a studio in Fremantle, so if you did want to pop in to see our work in person please let me know. We are open by appointment, and my assistant Maddy is there most Saturdays where you’re able to just drop in and look through our display albums.

Some FAQ’s about our luxury wedding collection Photography Packages.

What is included in my package?

Your photography package includes one photographer on the day, for the number of hours that has been booked in your package. We then supply Luxury Wedding Collection Perth with a couple of sneak peeks from your day ASAP, so you’ve got beautiful professional photos to share with your family and friends to announce your big news. Then your full gallery of images will be ready approximately three weeks after your wedding. We go through each image to ensure they look just right, and you’re able to share this photo gallery link. There will be a download pin number provided, which you’ll need to enter to be able to download the photo gallery. We suggest saving your photos on a couple of hard drives, as we have it all backed up but you can never be too safe!

Can I order printed photos?

Yes you can either print the photos yourself, or order through us. The images you download from your web gallery are the full size images, so there is no issue on printing big. If you’re happy to do the legwork yourself, we recommend using Fitzgerald Photo Imaging in North Perth. Or if you’d prefer us to print for you, you can order through the online gallery, or book a printing consult where we can go through all the options with you.

Can I get a wedding album?

Yes! We LOVE albums! It’s always so much nicer to be able to flip through the pages of an album…well, that’s my opinion anyway! We have a wide range of album products you can select from, we have smaller albums starting from $990 through to beautiful custom albums where you can hand pick everything from the design, the lining, the cover, the box it comes in…the choices can be endless!

How do I let you know what photos I want?

We like to meet with our wedding clients 4-6 weeks out from the wedding. I’ll get in touch to arrange a time to catch up with a phone call or on zoom, where we can go through the most important photos you need captured. We’ll also go through your family photos, so on the day you can just relax and enjoy being married, not think about who you need to chase down for a photo. We have photographed numerous weddings at each location Atalie offers packages, so we’ll be able to advise you on how many locations are possible in the time you have between the ceremony and reception.
