Hillarys Yacht Club Wedding

Hillarys Yacht Club is a great wedding venue, with views over Hillarys Boat Harbour as well as the Indian Ocean. We have photographed weddings where the ceremony is also at the same venue, with a stunning backdrop down on the boardwalk. 

If you are looking for a wedding venue where there is no travel required, this is where Hillarys Yacht Club is a great option. If you have a gap in between your ceremony and reception, guests can relax onsite, as it's lovely sitting on the boardwalk looking out over all the boats in the harbour. If they feel like doing some exploring, they can wonder up to the seawall or pop across to the shops on the other side of the harbour. 

For photos with your bridal party, the time you have in between your ceremony and reception will dictate just how far we can venture for your photos. The sea wall up the end of the road the yacht club is on works well, especially on a windy day as you can get in really close to the limestone wall to be protected from the wind. If you have access to transport then you can pop to one of the nearby rocky beaches to the south of Hillarys, otherwise there is a great beach just over the road from the Yacht Club. The landscaping up near this beach access is also an option for some greenery in your wedding photos. 

If you have a shorter gap, or would prefer to stay onsite then the jetty is the perfect spot to head to. The Yacht Club will open up the main jetty for your bridal party so you can have photographs taken amongst the boats. 

And then it's time for the wedding reception! The staff at this venue are lovely and always organised ready to go. The balcony is a bonus for when you want a little fresh air, it is just lovely sitting out there on a still night, looking at the lights from the harbour.
