Margaret River Wedding – Fiona + Jamie
It was a perfect April day when we headed down south for the intimate wedding of Fiona and Jamie.
Being the first of April, they made sure it was an afternoon ceremony just in case their guests were a little suspicious of a joke being played on them.
The ceremony was at Forest Rise Lodge and Chalets - this is such a beautiful spot, I've been lucky enough to stay at the lodge previously for a weekend away and the sunsets here are incredible, with kangaroos just casually hopping past.
It was a great base for their guests to stay and wander back to their accommodation at the end of the night. A lovely ceremony by the lake and then it was time to relax over by the big tepee before being taken over to Hayshed Wines for lunch - a favorite venue for the couple, so a perfect choice for the celebration.
And then it was time to head back to Forest Rise for their after party - the tepee was ready to host them the doughnut wedding cake in place, and the bar well stocked ready to party into the night.
