Sandalford Winery Wedding

The Swan Valley is a very popular choice for Perth couples booking their wedding reception. And what is great about weddings at Sandalford, is you can also have your ceremony there to then not have to worry about transport in between, or a long gap in the day. 

The ceremony areas available have beautiful views of the Sandalford Winery estate, our favourite spot is the Merlot Lawn, with a rolling vista over the lawn and lake in the background. 

The function rooms are absolutely stunning. The Barrel and Oak rooms have walls lined with wine barrels, and can create a beautiful warm and cosy space for your guests. They also make for a great photo backdrop too! Guests can enjoy their pre dinner drinks out on the lawn, which is absolutely perfect on a warm evening! 

You don't need to worry about heading anywhere else for photos with your bridal party. There is so much variety on the grounds, from the building itself and the surrounding vineyard. For the more adventurous who have a little more time in between their ceremony and reception, you can also walk down to the river where there is a lovely open field and a jetty. Backup shoes for the ladies is always a good idea for when we head there, as the gravel road down to the river is a tad steep! 

And then the sunsets are magical at Sandalford Winery! In March it is perfectly timed for the last few photos before you head in to your reception, and then in summer months we can pop out just after your entree to capture the beautiful light filtering through the trees. Such a stunning place, which is why we love photographing weddings here!
