Wedding Hair Pieces
We're looking at the different options for hair styling on your wedding day. The traditional veil is still one of the most popular options we see (and we can have a LOT of fun with them on your photo shoot), but if that really isn't your style, there are some stunning options out there.
The birdcage veil is a beautiful modern take on the tradition of lifting the veil at the wedding ceremony. Mixed with a lace piece, sparkling with crystals added to the netting, you can get really creative with these head pieces.
A hair piece made from crystals and/or lace looks stunning. These are also a great idea if you want to take your veil off after your wedding ceremony, as it creates a lovely feature. We have seem some beautiful hair pieces with such clever use of the fabric or lace from the bride's wedding dress, so that it all matches in perfectly. We also love how the drops in the design of Jess's hairpiece you see above matched in with the fall of the beaded fabric on the shoulders of her wedding dress. One of the perks of our job, we get to see so much creativity and style!
For a vintage feel, the floral head crown is a very popular choice at the moment. The intricate detail and bright colours in Meg's floral crown made by Rachael Robertson worked perfectly with the classic lace dress that Meg wore on the day, and her loose beachy curls.
