Frasers Kings Park Wedding - Sarah and Pep
Here we have the feature from Sarah and Pep's beautiful wedding held at Frasers Kings Park.
We first met Sarah's family about eight years ago, when we were photographing her sister's wedding, and also photographed these three stunning sisters as a gift for their parents. Way back when we were in our Victoria Park studio, we forget how quick time flies!
Sarah and Pep are absolutely lovely people, and the story of how they met fits the fairytale that Sarah had envisaged from when she was younger. Their wedding day was such a great celebration with family and friends. The ceremony was held at Christ the King in Beaconsfield, with one of our favourite priests Father Keating. If you've ever been to a wedding there you will agree with us I'm sure ;)
After some family photos at the church, we headed down in to Fremantle for some photos with the Bridal Party. What I loved was that Sarah and Pep gave us free range to select where we went for photos as long as it represented Fremantle, somewhere that they spend a lot of time. So there are a few spots that often get ignored for the more popular Fremantle wedding locations people are used to seeing that we were able to use this day. Popping through the side streets we then got to the Maritime Museum for our last photos, which has sentimental meaning as Pep has relatives names on the installation at the entrance to the museum.
Then it was off to Kings Park, for their wedding reception at Frasers Restaurant. The State Reception Centre looked stunning, the white dancefloor and the table decorations gave the room such an elegant feel. And when half the Bridal Party are in a band together, you know there is going to be a party! An early Bridal Waltz, and the best Father/Daughter dance I've ever seen opened up the dancefloor for the guests, and it remained full the whole night!
