Crown Perth Wedding - Laura and Matthew

We shared their sneak peek last year, but here are some of our favourite images from Laura and Matthew's wedding day. 

We've known the Palmieri's for quite a while, after photographing weddings for other family members, so we were so excited when Laura called to say they were engaged and planning their wedding!  

It was one of those days where the smoke from backburning came in and sat over the river for most of the day, which ended up being amazing for us, as we had such soft lighting that we don't usually see! The ceremony was held at Santa Maria in Attadale, such a stunning view over the river from there! We then headed off to UWA with the Bridal Party, once again loving the lighting effects from that smoke. Lucky these guys knew us from previous weddings and were used to seeing us get excited with the different photos we could create! 

We then headed to Crown for a photo sneaky photos in the foyer before their wedding reception in the Astral Ballroom. OK, Laura had warned me that she loved all that sparkles. But the impact stepping in to that ballroom was amazing! The glittery backdrop behind the bridal table along with the lighting effects you can get in the Astral combined to make it stunning!
